PORTER BILL BRIDLE is a series of high-class leather accessories that use bridle leather from a long-established British leather tanner with a history of over 170 years.
Bridle means "saddle", and bridle leather was born in Europe as a leather for harness. Tannin tanned thick and durable cowhide leather (cow leather over 2 years old) is used, and wax such as beeswax is applied in the final stage to tighten the leather fibers and make it more durable. Finished with durable leather. It is known as a high-quality leather because it takes a lot of time and effort compared to general leather.
Bridle leather from THOMAS WARE & SONS, founded in Bristol, England in 1840, is used as the main material. Using raw hides from the UK, each piece is hand-painted and waxed by craftsmen over 10 weeks after tanning. The white powder that stands out on the surface of the leather is wax such as beeswax and vegetable oil called Bloom. As you use it, the oil and wax in the leather will gradually increase its luster and deepen its color.
In this series, thick bridle leather with a solid feeling is thinly skimmed to bring out lightness, and it is also used in key points of the interior for a luxurious finish. The edges of the edges are carefully polished so that you can feel the craftsmanship, and the basic design is characterized by a sharp and clean impression. Available in three colors: black, navy, and London Tan, a long-loved British traditional color. The zipper is a luxurious and comfortable Excela zipper, and the gold color is used for black and London tongue, and the silver color is used for navy.
Please note that tigers and bloodlines may be included as the finish emphasizes the original texture of the leather. Scratches due to scratches may be noticeable. Color fading due to wetness (rain, sweat, etc.), blisters on the leather surface, stains, and fading due to sunburn are unavoidable. Please be careful when matching.
